Project Coordinator (Insurance)

Requirements :

- Degree or equivalent qualification
- Professional insurance/ investment qualification (Certified in CLI, DLI, ILP and LOMA)
- Professional Project Management qualification (PMP) will be an added value
- 4 - 5 years of experience in the insurance business – both in the life and retail health portfolios
- Minimally 2 years of strong working knowledge experience in insurance operations (or similar field) is a must
- Legal background and familiarity with insurance regulations a definite advantage
- Highly-motivated and well-organised with good communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent project management and change management skills and problem solving skills
- Strong skills and experience in leading working session discussions, process documentation, working with users to validate processes and users



Other Criteria :

Responsible for coordinating and managing projects within the Customer Service Unit. The main project being; Target Operating Model (TOM) a project that is a strategic initiative to transform customer service through delivering a scalable and efficient shared services model that can be deployed regionally.

Responsibilities

• Completion of good quality project deliverables on a timely basis with smooth pre and post “go-live” launches
• Adherence to project development schedules and project cost including any change requests
• User satisfaction on collaboration and gathering of business requirements for system enhancements and in line with the Standard Business Requirements Document
• Efficient and effective trainings, guides and process manuals to support the operations teams
• Working with key stakeholders to obtain their buy-in when proposing for process changes and having proper sign-off documentation
• Partnering with the functional process owners and team members and proactively look at opportunities to help optimise effectiveness and efficiencies of all operational processes and workflows
